Hello has anyone utilized Halfords petrol proof very clear laquer on their petrol tank in excess of the prime of h2o slide transfers. I have vinyl transfers for the gold lining and waterslide for the AJS brand. I never want to uncover that the tranfers crinkle up when the laquer goes on. I have experienced negative activities in the past with Halfords paints and laquers not remaining compatable with other paints or even with every single other. My approach is to go away the tank soon after painting for at the very least two months before flatting it , implementing the transfers, another two months to make specified everythng si dry anid then clearcoat wth petrol proof laquer to protect the paint. Cheers.
